Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on quality, price, delivery, and service.
Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to ensure favourable pricing and conditions.
Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with internal teams to forecast demand.
Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and products.
Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory levels.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop sourcing strategies.
Stay updated on industry trends and market conditions to make informed purchasing decisions.Qualifications:
Relevant CIPS qualification is desirable.
Proven experience as a Buyer or in a similar procurement role.
Strong knowledge of supply chain management.
Proficiency in using supply chain management software and Microsoft Office suites.
Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to secure favourable terms and pricing.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Detail-oriented with excellent organisational skills.
Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively. INDCP
