We are currently recruiting for a Purchasing Assistant for our very reputable family-owned business based in Grantham that require a permanent Purchasing Assistant to help on a full time basis.
Your role as Purchasing Assistant will include:
* Process all purchase requisition forms, creating new codes if required.
* RFQ forms and data inputting, updating of ERP system.
* Control and manage purchase orders created and deal with all supplier and invoice queries on a daily basis.
* Daily support to Purchasing Manager and Senior Buyer.
* Support to all departments as required.
* Creating Purchase Orders
* Some basic negotiations and buying of material and consumables.
The hours for the Purchasing Assistant are Monday to Thursday 8.30am – 5pm and Friday 8.30am – 3pm, 39 hours per week. Accessible by local transport and based in Grantham, the company also offer free car parking.
