As a Purchasing and Project Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in optimising the procurement process and ensuring smooth project execution. Your responsibilities will include:

Organising and leading supplier visits and audits to maintain high performance.
Conducting quarterly supplier reviews, collecting KPI metrics, and negotiating service and costs to meet company goals.
Creating and maintaining SLAs with suppliers to meet business needs.
Collaborating with stakeholders to streamline cash flow, payment terms, stock levels, packaging, handling, and compliance, reducing supply chain costs and delays.
Supporting new part introductions by following controlled processes.
Performing daily system updates like vendor card management and pricing breaks to maintain system integrity.
Reviewing and resolving invoice queries from Accounts.
Sourcing favourable duties and landed costs for customers through benchmarking.
Completing RFQ requests from Sales Managers.
Reviewing sales projects to ensure the best supply meets deadlines and is commercially viable.
Creating costing tables and performing benchmarking to test supply route efficiency.
Planning inventory, considering quantity, arrival date, sales demand, stock safety levels, cash flow, and DSI targets.
Introducing new suppliers, following controlled processes, including QC and ethical audits.
Addressing and investigating supplier discrepancies.
Writing supplier and service agreements.
Maintaining and updating commodity strategies.
Reviewing KPI tool queries monthly.
Developing and implementing cost-saving plans for commodities where needed.Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
