Due to continued expansion, we are recruiting for an experienced Purchaser to join our well established client.
Duties:
* The role reports directly to the head of operations and controls of all aspects of the primary supply chain.
* Daily processing of quotations, purchase orders, quality, and stock records.
* Follow up of purchase orders to ensure that the goods or services are delivered on time.
* Recording supplier contracts and vetting suppliers to ensure they comply with the requirements of the business.
* Seeking new supplier relationships and testing the competitiveness of incumbents regularly.
* Ensuring that best value for products and services is obtained.
* Proactive involvement in efficiency reviews and creating investment proposals where necessary.
Requirements:
* Excellent communication skills.
* Experience of working within a team.
* Experience working within a similar role in the Engineering sector.
* Basic Excel proficiency.

Salary: £30,000 - £33,000 Per Annum.
Working hours: Monday to Friday 8am - 4:30pm.
