AMJ Recruitment are recruiting for a Purchase & Materials Controller/Administrator, based at our well established Market Leading Manufacturing Client based in Hinckley.

Salary - £26000 per annum

Term - Permanent from Day 1

Working Hours - 08:00am until 16:30pm (Mon-Fri)

Reporting To - UK Production Manager

Job Overview:

Due to expansion, our client is recruiting for this new role to assist the UK Production Manager. The Initial support role will progress in time as your experience develops to become a key member of the team.

Key tasks and responsibilities

• Working as part of the production team
• Dealing with suppliers obtaining quotations
• Ensuring Goods in procedures are followed
• Purchase Order processing in a timely manner
• Assist in the Stock Control of Components and Parts
• Other general ad hoc stock replenishment
• Production Works Order Processing in a timely Manner
• Be able to liaise with other departments to deal with enquires efficiently and successfully

Compliance responsibilities

• Management of all processes in accordance with issued procedures
• Ensure compliance of any activities to General Data Protection Regulation so that those activities are performed in accordance with approved internal policies and procedures including but not limiting to Data Protection Policy

Key skills / abilities

• Previous experience in a similar role
• Experience with ERP Systems (M3 Preferred)
• Good communication and writing skills
• Well-organized
• Health and safety conscious
• Can work on own initiative
• Can work as part of a team
• Good time keeping and attendance
• Ensure that outstanding customer service is upheld
