Position: Purchase Ledger Clerk
Location: Warrington WA3
Salary: £11.00 – £14.00 per hour
Our client is a leading supplier that has been well established for over 50 years and has a fantastic working relationship in over 80 countries worldwide. They have a new position for a Part Time Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their family-owned business on a temporary basis. The contract is expected to last for 6 – 12 months.
Job Description
Preparing financial statements, showing business income and expenditure
Raising salary ledger
Chasing overdue invoices
Building and maintaining client relationship
Processing payments, invoices, income and receipts and entering data into accounting software
Managing expenses
Month end accounts
Processing VAT returns
General ad hoc admin/office duties
Assist with monthly/quarterly reporting
The Successful Candidate
Fully qualified AAT or Qualified by experience
Previous experience using Sage 50, SAP or other account software
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office inc. Excel
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work to dead lines
Full UK driving licence
What’s On Offer
Hours: 16 – 20 hours per week / Monday – Friday
Salary: £11.00 – £14.00 per hour
