Coventry | Permanent - Full Time
Up to £30,000
We're working with a well-established business in Coventry that's looking to add an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to its finance team.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys the day-to-day ownership of the purchase ledger function and takes pride in keeping things accurate, organised, and running smoothly. You'll be joining a friendly, supportive team where your contribution will have a real impact.
What you'll be doing:
Processing supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner
Matching, coding and posting invoices
Reconciling supplier statements and resolving any discrepancies
Handling supplier queries and building positive working relationships
Preparing payment runs
Processing credit notes and expenses
Supporting the wider finance team with month-end activities
Maintaining accurate records and ensuring all transactions are up to date What we're looking for:
Previous experience within a Purchase Ledger or Accounts Payable role is essential
Comfortable working with high volumes of invoices
Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach
Good communication skills and confidence dealing with suppliers
Competent using finance systems and Excel
Someone who can work independently while being a team player What's on offer:
