Purchase Ledger Clerk – Maternity Cover (1 year)

Adept Resourcing are currently working in partnership with a leading care home provider working across the whole of the UK. Due to maternity leave an exciting opportunity has arisen to join their purchase ledger team at basic entry level.

This role is working within an experienced team who can provide training so experience isn’t necessary however candidates will need to hold relevant experience within an office based role where they have a keen eye for detail and high levels of organisational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

* Purchase invoice entry

* Purchase order and delivery note analyst

* Setting up new suppliers and agreeing terms

* Cost Analyst

* Statement Reconciliation

* Petty cash and credit card entry

The ideal candidate:

* Must be reliable and willing to learn

* Must be available for the full duration of the contract

* Experience within a similar role is desired but not essential

* Happy working in a team environment

* Must be able to get there via public transport or have their own driving licence.

This role is maternity cover and will be a contract of 1 year, should they have the capacity to keep you on at they end they will look to do that however this is not guaranteed. The company can offer flexible working hours for the right candidate, Monday to Friday between the hours of 9am-17:00pm. This contract will be between 30-35 hours and the salary is between £18,408-£21,476 depending on the hours worked
