Temporary Accounts Assistant - Purchase Ledger Clerk – Doncaster – Up to £26,000

Chase & Holland are proud to be exclusively partnering with a fast growing, energetic SME business in Doncaster to recruit an experienced Accounts Assistant - Purchase Ledger. This is an exciting opportunity to gain experience with a growing business working in a friendly finance team.

Temporary Purchase Ledger Clerk responsibilities will include:

Managing the process for multiple purchase ledgers
Matching invoices to PO’s and GRN’s
Processing, coding and matching invoices
Complete weekly and monthly payment runs
Checking supplier statements
Close month end ledgers
Calculating purchase accruals
Successfully answering any related queries
Ad-hoc management reporting when required
Assisting with various other accounting duties
Assisting to develop processes, procedures and reporting Required Skills & Experience:

Solid experience in a busy purchase ledger/ accounts role
Must have the ability to work to tight deadlines
A forward thinking individual with the ability to work on their own initiative
IT literate including excel
