Axon Moore are pleased to be partnering a high-growth business in Wigan as they look to bolster their AP function with the addition of an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk / Accounts Assistant capable hitting the ground running in a fast-paced, end-to-end role taking full ownership of your supplier accounts.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
Processing all transactions for suppliers and expense claimants
Reviewing POs
Preparing weekly aged creditors summary
Investigating any aged debt and taking corrective action
Supplier statement reconciliations
Setting up new suppliers
Supporting month-end ledger close
Bank reconciliations
Ad hoc projects
Sales ledger cover when required
Required Skills and Experience:
Good IT and MS Excel skills
Able to build and maintain long-lasting working relationships
Previous experience within Purchase Ledger
Good attention to detail and analytical skills
Able to communicate clearly and effectively
Able to work collaboratively and independently
Benefits:

Hybrid working 2/3 days per week
40 hours per week – 8:30am - 5:30pm
