My client is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Purchase Ledger Assistant to join their growing Accounts team on a permanent basis. In this role you will be based in Plymouth and work alongside a friendly and collaborative team. This is a varied and interesting role where you will process financial data within the accounts team, primarily consisting of the Purchase Ledger and accounts attached to that. You'll already have some experience and knowledge of Purchase Ledger processes and be known for your high level of accuracy.
It is an excellent opportunity for someone with some Purchase Ledger experience, looking to grow their career within a professional environment. This is a hybrid role, with 3 days in the office.
Key Responsibilities:
* Process financial data, primarily consisting of the Purchase ledger.
* Support with cashiering, accounting, and bank procedures.
* Be adaptable to support within the wider Accounts team when assistance is needed at peak times.
* Learn/understand the Financial Life Cycle process adopted within the business and contribute to managing this policy.
* Produce work which is accurate and of high quality.
Essential Experience / Qualifications and Attributes Required:
* 2 years Purchase Ledger experience.
* Confident and professional communicator.
* High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
* Successful applicants will be required to complete a pre-employment screening process which includes a financial integrity check and a DBS check.
