Starting from £16 per hour
Our client is seeking an experienced Pump Technician to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled individual to work within a well-established business, carrying out the installation, servicing, maintenance, and repair of a wide range of pumping equipment and associated systems to the highest standards.
Pump Technician Roles and Responsibilities:
* Service, repair, and maintain a wide range of pumps and pumping systems
* Diagnose mechanical faults and carry out effective repairs
* Install and commission new pump equipment
* Conduct inspections and preventative maintenance
* Complete job reports and maintain accurate service records
* Ensure all work is carried out safely and in line with company procedures
* Deliver excellent customer service while working on client sites
* Participate in an on-call rota where required
Pump Technician Ideal Candidate:
* Previous experience working with pumps, motors, or rotating equipment
* Strong mechanical aptitude and fault-finding skills
* Experience in industrial, wastewater, or commercial pumping systems (desirable)
* Basic electrical knowledge (advantageous)
* The ability to work independently and as part of a team
