Position Summary:
We seek a skilled Public Health Design Engineer to manage projects in the South East. Reporting to the Director, you'll oversee projects from concept to handover, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.
Qualifications and Experience:
* British or European citizenship or valid UK working rights
* Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering
* 5+ years' public health design experience in a consulting engineering firm in the UK
* Proficient in Revit MEP, BS EN standards, and fire systems design
* Knowledge of building regulations, BREEAM, and NBS Specification writing is advantageous
Key Responsibilities:
* Designing domestic water, drainage, and fire systems
* Liaison with architects, clients, structural engineers and contractors
* Managing projects, including site inspections and documentation
* Keeping abreast of industry trends and regulations
Criteria:
* St Albans residence with own transport and valid driver’s licence
* Permanent position
* Current policy is 5 days per week in office during 3 month
* probation period, and after that 3 days per week in office and 2 days per week remote working
