Role: Psychology Graduate to work as a Teaching Assistant

£10.90 - £11.44 per hour

Full time – Term time only

We are seeking a motivated Psychology Graduate to join our School based in Wolverhampton. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting students with diverse needs, including behavioural and emotional challenges. Prior experience working with children in some capacity is essential for this role. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate individual who is dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of young people.

Key Responsibilities:

-Assist in the deliver of 1:1 and small group interventions and general support

-Provide support and guidance to students, helping them to recognize and regulate their emotions effectively.

-Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.

-Contribute to the delivery of therapeutic interventions and programs aimed at enhancing students' social, emotional, and academic development.

-Monitor and evaluate the progress of students, adjusting support strategies as needed to ensure their success.

Requirements:

-A bachelor’s degree in psychology or a related field.

-Prior experience working with children in a school or educational setting is desirable

-Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

-Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to support the well-being of young people.

-Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
