GSL Education are actively recruiting Psychology Graduate to work as a Teaching Assistant to join exceptional Secondary Schools in York, North Yorkshire starting as soon as possible.
Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant responsibilities:
Supporting SEMH students with a range of additional needs, including mental health, behavioural difficulties, and autism.
Liaising with class teachers, the senior leadership team, and outside agencies, in order to comply with EHCPs or personalised learning plans.
Helping to boost self-confidence and self-esteem of students.
To build relationships with key children and young people on a 1:1 basis.
Managing behaviour in-line with the school's policies and ethos.
