Are you a qualified Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner looking to make a genuine difference within a specialist mental health service?

Would you like to utilise your CBT and low-intensity intervention skills in a unique environment supporting individuals within the Criminal Justice sector?

An excellent opportunity has become available with a nationally recognised mental health charity delivering integrated mental health services across the Criminal Justice sector. The organisation works in partnership with NHS providers to support individuals experiencing mild to moderate mental health difficulties, helping them access evidence-based psychological interventions and achieve positive recovery outcomes.

Vacancy Brief:

* The role is for a Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner (PWP).

* This is a permanent, full-time position.

* The role is based within a secure Criminal Justice setting in Hull.

* Salary for the position is £32,073 per annum.

* Working hours are Monday to Friday with no weekend working.

* Flexible and condensed working arrangements may be considered.

* This is a predominantly site-based role with occasional home working for training or service requirements.

* Prison vetting and an Enhanced DBS will be required upon successful appointment.

* Immediate starts are available subject to clearance.

Key Responsibilities:

* Deliver high-volume, low-intensity psychological interventions to individuals experiencing mild to moderate anxiety and depression.

* Undertake comprehensive assessments and formulate person-centred recovery plans.

* Deliver guided self-help, psychoeducational interventions and CBT-based therapeutic support in both one-to-one and group settings.

* Support individuals in the self-management of their mental health and wellbeing.

* Maintain accurate clinical records and outcome measures in accordance with service standards.

* Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary mental health team to ensure effective stepped-care pathways.

* Participate in case discussions, clinical supervision and multidisciplinary meetings.

* Liaise with internal and external professionals to support continuity of care and positive recovery outcomes.

* Manage referrals, assess suitability for treatment and facilitate onward referrals where appropriate.

What We're Looking For:

* Qualified Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner (PWP).

* BABCP or BPS accreditation, or candidates working towards accreditation following qualification.

* Experience delivering low-intensity CBT interventions within a stepped-care service.

* Knowledge of assessment, risk management and evidence-based psychological therapies.

* Strong communication, engagement and clinical record-keeping skills.

* Experience within offender health, secure environments or Criminal Justice settings would be advantageous but is not essential.
