Location Glasgow
Pay Rate: £20.50 per hour dayshift ONLY
or £22.91 per hour nightshift ONLY
Contracted Hours: 38 per week (full time & permanent + overtime available)

We are now looking for an NVQ/SVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) qualified PSV/HGV Electrician – we would love you to hear from qualified candidates with electrically biased experience and any ex-Forces personnel with an engineering apprenticeship qualification, and experienced engineers from other sectors looking for a change.

Key Responsibilities:
Diagnose and carry out vehicle electrical repairs, servicing, and parts replacement
Diagnose vehicle electrical faults and specify the correct method of repair and parts to be used
Carry out vehicle road testing where necessary to identify specific vehicle defects or following remedial repair
To fully comply with all HSE legislation along with Group Policies
To fully comply with all relevant Standard Operating Procedures
Maintain and develop technical skills as required
About You
* Do you have a minimum Level 3 NVQ/SVQ (or City & Guilds equivalent) qualification in vehicle maintenance and repair – PSV/HGV preferred
* Ability to multi-skill within an Engineering Environment with preferably electrically biased experience
A valid UK driving license, a PCV licence is desirable, ability to obtain PCV licence is essential
