Norfolk, travel within UK will be required.

ISQ Recruitment is seeking a dedicated PSV Technician on behalf of our client based in Norfolk. The main purpose of this role is to attend client sites as required to carry out essential repair and maintenance of vehicles, with a focus on electric vehicles. You will need to quickly build rapport with clients, understand the problem at hand, and deliver on-site solutions efficiently. When not on client calls, you will support technicians in the workshop.
  
Key Responsibilities:

Assembling/disassembling vehicles, EV motors, gearboxes, and power electronics.
Reading technical drawings, manuals, and specifications to complete tasks to a specified level.
Fault finding and quality checking finished work.
Frequent travel offsite to clients or suppliers across the UK and occasionally internationally. Travel costs, meals, and accommodation will be reimbursed.   
Key Skills and Relevant Experience:

4+ years of experience in vehicle maintenance, pneumatics, and hydraulics, with an electrical bias being an advantage.
Strong planning and organisational skills with a high level of motivation.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work well under pressure as part of a team, with well-developed interpersonal skills.
Strong working knowledge of hand/power tools such as drill press, grinders, digital measuring tools, torque wrench, tap and dies, punches, and pipe benders.
Proficiency with MS Office applications: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint.
Self-starter requiring minimal supervision, able to troubleshoot and drive activities through to completion.
Understanding of Health & Safety and PPE requirements.   
Desirable Qualities:

Level 3 IMI accreditation/vehicle maintenance qualification in electric/hybrid vehicles.
First aid trained.
Valid UK driver's licence.
Class 'D' licence.
Academic qualifications to IMI NVQ Level 3 or HNC/BTEC in Engineering with relevant industrial experience.
Physical fitness for lifting and manual handling and operation of power tools.
