Are you passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of young people? Dunbar Education is seeking a dedicated PSHE Teacher to join our team at a SEN provision catering to students aged 12 to 18.

Role Overview: As a PSHE Teacher, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality education and support to secondary-aged students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, alongside managing some behaviour challenges. Your responsibilities will include planning and delivering engaging PSHE lessons, fostering a supportive learning environment, and providing pastoral care to students.

Key Requirements:

Full-time Commitment: This position requires full-time availability, Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Experience with SEMH & Challenging Behaviour: Previous experience working with students with SEMH and managing challenging behaviour is essential.
DBS Clearance: All applicants must have a valid DBS clearance on the update service or be willing to obtain one before starting the role.Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver PSHE lessons tailored to the needs of students with SEMH.
Support students in developing essential life skills, emotional literacy, and resilience.
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student engagement and success.
Provide pastoral support and guidance to students, fostering their social and emotional development.
Collaborate with colleagues and external stakeholders to ensure the holistic development and well-being of students.Benefits:
