Job Title: PRU Teaching Assistant
Location: Waltham Forest
Salary Scale: £85-£95 per day
Contract Type: Full Time

If you’ve worked with children or young individuals before, especially within a school environment, we have an exciting opportunity for you at one of our client schools based in Waltham Forest!

As part of your role, you’ll provide support to groups of students with diverse needs, including challenging behavior, ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder), PMLD (Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties), MLD (Moderate Learning Difficulties), and social, emotional, and mental health needs. Your responsibilities will involve both group settings and one-on-one interactions, spanning various age groups and learning levels.

Responsibilities:

Individual Support: Provide one-on-one assistance to students with SEN/SEMH, ensuring their unique needs are met.

Classroom Assistance: Aid teachers with lesson preparation, classroom management, and delivering tailored activities.

Behavioural Support: Implement strategies to manage and improve student behaviour, fostering a positive learning environment.

Resource Management: Help in organizing and maintaining educational materials and resources.

Engaging Activities: Assist in creating and supervising engaging and educational activities that cater to diverse learning styles.

Inclusive Environment: Promote inclusivity and a sense of belonging among all students.

️ Monitoring Progress: Track and report on student progress, providing valuable feedback to teachers and parents.
