We are a privately owned commercial property investor and landlord with more than 25 years of trading.

The role

You will oversee the management of our portfolio day to day: looking after tenants and buildings, keeping units let, and protecting and growing rental income. You will work closely with the directors and a small in-house team.

Key responsibilities

* Act as the senior point of contact for tenants, contractors and agents

* Manage vacant properties and enquire about new acquisitions

* Assist with lease events: rent reviews, renewals, breaks and expiries

* Oversee rent and service charge collection and keep arrears down

* Inspect properties regularly and oversee tenant compliance

* Oversee the enforcement of lease terms and deal with disputes and dilapidations

* Keep tenancy records accurate and report to the directors

* Identify ways to improve income and value across the portfolio

Person specification

* Experience in commercial property management, ideally multi-let industrial or trade

* Good working knowledge of commercial leases and landlord and tenant matters

* A confident negotiator and communicator, firm and fair with tenants

* Commercially minded, numerate and organised

* Able to work independently in a small team

* A relevant qualification such as RICS is welcome but not essential
