Description:

Astute's Strategic Division are currently recruiting for a Projects Planner to join the EPC Contractor across a number of Telehouse Data Centres builds in the London area on a 12 months contract basis.

The Projects Planner position comes with a day rate from £650.00 to £750.00 per day Outside IR35.

Role responsibilities and key skills for the role:

Develop, maintain and manage detailed Primavera P6 project programmes across two major data centre projects in East London, covering the full project lifecycle from construction through commissioning, handover and operation.
Take ownership of the integrated project schedule, ensuring key construction, M&E, commissioning and operational readiness activities are accurately planned and coordinated.
Work closely with Project Managers, Construction Managers, Engineering Managers, Commercial teams and Commissioning Managers to monitor progress and ensure programme milestones are achieved.
Produce accurate weekly and monthly progress reports, programme updates, look-ahead schedules, critical-path analysis and progress dashboards for both internal management and client review.
Identify programme risks, delays, constraints and critical-path issues, working collaboratively with the project team to develop mitigation and recovery plans.
Lead and contribute to regular planning and progress meetings, confidently presenting programme status, key risks and upcoming milestones directly to the client and senior project stakeholders.
Monitor contractor and subcontractor performance against the agreed baseline programme, challenging progress where required and ensuring activities are correctly sequenced and coordinated.
Support both projects from build through energisation, commissioning, testing and final handover into operation, maintaining programme control and visibility throughout the complete cradle-to-grave delivery lifecycle.Location, day rate and timeframe of the Projects Planner position:
