Description:

Our Financial Control team based in London would like to welcome an Experienced Project Management Controller to manage the financial control of one or two Projects (from £50m to £100m each).

Your assignment would be to insure a reliable financial reporting in compliance with the Group process and procedures. This position implies to closely work with Project top management team, and their commercial and production teams.

The candidate will have to manage a team of 2 to 3 workers.

The candidate will have to be ready to engage in a multi-cultural environment.

Accountabilities and key tasks:

With the support of your team members, you will:

Assist the Project(s) Director in his/her decision-making process.

Set up the financial structure of the project(s), that will then be used to measure and improve the financial performance.

Prepare the Project(s) Financial Objective in collaboration with project management team.

Consolidate Monthly Project(s) Financial Reporting for the senior Project Management team.

Control and analyse site reporting variances of costs at stage and give a fair view of the End of Site forecast.

Assess Project(s) risks and opportunities in support of production and commercial teams.

Advise on actions plan to improve the financial performance of the site.

Manage the Financial Controller’s team (2 to 3 members).

Make sure that all costs are properly incurred and recorded in SAP and in the various financial follow-up files used by the project team.

Forecast indirect costs expenses with the production team.

Prepare accurate monthly management accounts, with particular focus on end of quarter and end of year closure.

Prepare audit reviews in collaboration with the accounting team.

 General Duties includes:

Ensure that the company financial system is compliant and robust: use of SAP as reporting tool.

Process all duties under the company procedures and ensure that all the procedures are properly implemented and followed.

Provide support and training on the use of reporting tools to the Project team.

Undertake relevant trainings to understand the information systems used within BOUYGUES UK.

Maintain financial confidentiality and data protection.

Perform transversal tasks and analysis when required.

Essential and Desirable Criteria:

Previous experience in leading a Financial Controller position of project(s) in the construction industry.

Excellent at building working relationships.

Assertiveness, autonomy, pro-activeness.

Rigorous; work with deadlines.

Good communication and management skills.

At least Degree in management accounting / finance.
