Projects Estimator
Hampshire
£50 - £60k
Deliver accurate and competitive project quotations for HVAC and Gas projects ranging from £20k to £150k, with occasional projects exceeding £500k.
Interpret technical specifications, drawings and client requirements to develop compliant project solutions.
Make commercially sound decisions regarding pricing, margins and project profitability. Develop and present professional bid submissions, including quotations, programmes and technical information.
Build effective working relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive and compliant pricing.
Conduct site surveys and recommend practical, value-engineered and sustainable solutions for clients.
Collaborate closely with project delivery teams to ensure smooth project handover and commercial alignment. Support continuous improvement within estimating processes, systems and ways of working.
Requirements:
Proven experience producing HVAC/Gas project quotations ranging from £20k-£150k, with larger value projects advantageous.
Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications and pre-designed schemes. Strong commercial awareness including markup, margin management and profitability considerations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Smartsheet and CRM systems (HubSpot advantageous).
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Strong attention to detail and organisational capability.
