My client, a dynamic Automotive Technologies business, are looking to recruit a Project Test Engineer with a strong interest and passion for Automotive Technology development. This is a great opportunity to work for one of the most dynamic smart-tech companies in the UK, with an extensive background of supplying products into the Global Automotive, Motorsport, Marine, Mining and Defence industry Sectors and a portfolio of Blue-Chip clients, including BMW, Pirelli, Porsche, Ferrari, Aston Martin, JCB and Bosch to name just a few.

As Project Test Engineer you will take ownership of testing and sign-off activities of products, by validating functionality, performance, reliability and safety. You will be responsible for creating and maintaining technical documentation, test plans and test tools.

Key Responsibilities:

Take an active role in all aspects of product testing, from R&D to product release.
Develop and utilise software, firmware, and hardware testing tools for product testing tasks.
Write and execute product testing plans and strategies.
Identify and improve product testing tools and processes.
Create and maintain product test sheets and documentation.
Work closely with all our teams to ensure smooth and creative delivery!

Essential Experience Requirements:

Engineering Degree or Equivalent (ideally in Automotive Engineering, Electronic Engineering or Mechanical Engineering)
At least 1 year experience in a similar role, ideally within the Automotive Technology industry sector
Familiarity with hardware testing tools such as oscilloscopes, logic analysers and multimeters
Ability to demonstrate a logical approach to troubleshooting
Full, Clean UK Driving Licence

Desired Experience:

Exposure to GPS and Automotive-based technologies
Understanding of testing methodologies, tools and best practices
Knowledge of coding (Python)
