Description:
A well-established South London construction consultancy is looking to appoint a Project Quantity Surveyor to join its growing cost management team. The successful Project Quantity Surveyor will work across Residential, Commercial and Education projects throughout London and the South East.
The Project Quantity Surveyor's Role
The Project Quantity Surveyor will manage commissions from early cost planning and tendering through construction, change control and final account.
Working within a small-to-medium sized consultancy, the Project Quantity Surveyor will have regular contact with clients, architects and contractors, giving them strong visibility across each project rather than operating within a large delivery structure.
The role would suit a Project Quantity Surveyor who wants more responsibility and a varied workload. The Project Quantity Surveyor will be trusted to manage their own projects, provide practical commercial advice and contribute to maintaining long-term client relationships.
The Project Quantity Surveyor
Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or similar
UK PQS / consultancy experience
Strong pre- and post-contract knowledge
Residential, Commercial or Education experience
Confident with cost planning and tendering
Experience with valuations and final accounts
Good knowledge of JCT contracts
MRICS or working towards chartership
Strong client-facing communication
Commercially aware and organised
Comfortable managing projects independentlyIn Return
