Project Quantity Surveyor - Construction Consultancy
An established construction consultancy is looking to appoint a Project Quantity Surveyor to join their Glasgow office. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Project Quantity Surveyor to take responsibility for a varied portfolio of projects while continuing to develop within a respected consultancy environment.
The successful Project Quantity Surveyor will work closely with clients and project teams, delivering commercial and cost management services from early-stage feasibility through to final account.

The company is a well-established construction and property consultancy providing quantity surveying and commercial services across a range of sectors.
Their Glasgow team has a strong pipeline of work and offers an experienced Project Quantity Surveyor the opportunity to manage projects independently while working alongside senior colleagues on larger and more complex schemes.
The Role
The Project Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for delivering projects through the full cost management lifecycle.
Typical responsibilities will include:
Preparing cost plans, estimates and tender documentation
Managing procurement and tender processes
Producing valuations, cost reports and cash flow forecasts
Assessing variations and managing change control
Attending client, design team and site meetings
Managing contractual and commercial matters
Preparing and agreeing final accounts
Supporting and mentoring junior members of the teamThe Project Quantity Surveyor will maintain regular communication with clients and ensure projects are delivered with strong commercial control.
The Person
The successful Project Quantity Surveyor will ideally have:
A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related construction discipline
An RICS-accredited qualification or equivalent industry-relevant qualification
Experience working within a construction consultancy or similar professional environment
Good knowledge of construction contracts and cost management procedures
Strong commercial, numerical and communication skills
Experience managing projects with limited supervision
MRICS status, or progress towards chartership, would be advantageousWhat's in it for you?
