Shirley Parsons is partnering with a leading infrastructure contractor to recruit a Project Quality Lead for a long-term major capital delivery programme across the North West.

The successful candidate will act as the quality lead across multiple projects, working closely with operational teams to drive quality performance, embed a Right First Time culture and ensure compliance throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities include:

Providing visible quality leadership across live construction projects.
Driving Right First Time outcomes and promoting continuous improvement.
Undertaking audits, inspections and quality reviews.
Supporting the development and implementation of Quality Plans and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs).
Managing non-conformances and corrective actions through to close-out.
Analysing quality performance data and identifying opportunities for improvement.
Supporting operational teams in achieving quality objectives and contractual requirements.
Ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 and company management systems.
Working closely with project managers, engineers and supply chain partners to enhance quality performance.
About You:

Proven experience within a Quality Advisor, Senior Quality Advisor, Quality Engineer or similar role.
Experience supporting construction, infrastructure, utilities or Water project environments.
Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and quality management systems.
Experience conducting audits, inspections and quality reviews.
Ability to influence and engage effectively with project delivery teams.
Strong root cause analysis and corrective action management experience.
Full UK Driving Licence. 
Lead Auditor or Internal Auditor qualification - Desirable
CQI Membership (MCQI/CQP advantageous) - Desirable

This is a hands-on, project-facing role where you'll partner with delivery teams to drive quality performance and Right First Time outcomes and ensure compliance across live construction projects
