Description:
A highly reputable and well known Renewable Energy company are actively looking for a Project Procurement Manager to join their organisation on an initial interim basis.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and optimise supply chain strategies for innovative projects in the development, construction and/ or operational phases.
Develop and execute sourcing, assessment, negotiation and contract execution strategies.
Develop, negotiate and apply appropriate contract terms and conditions to suit project activities (e.g. NEC4, FIDIC).
Ensure that commercial project issues are addressed in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Establish and maintain strong working / strategic relationships with project team and relevant business stakeholders.
Contribute to the creation and operation of project procurement initiatives / continuous improvement.
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:
MCIPS (or working towards), alternatively a relevant business or engineering degree is desirable.
Expected to have significant experience in construction/infrastructure or complex procurement projects.
Proven capability / skills in complex CAPEX & OPEX negotiations.
Candidates should be capable of operating to tight timescales with the minimum of guidance and be able to communicate effectively at all levels of the business.
Ability to influence and manage across multiple international cultures and a geographically diverse portfolio.
Ability to influence and manage across multi-disciplinary teams.
Fully committed, flexible and ready to travel to meet the business requirements.
