Description:
Hales Group are seeking a Project Planning Coordinator to support our client on a permanent basis. Within this role you will be responsible for the document control on behalf of the company as well as assisting with the move of projects towards completion by performing project planning and documentation support tasks.
Key Responsibilities
Establish and maintain both electronic and paper files for Planning and Engineering throughout the project lifecycle
Coordinate internal transmittals, including work instructions, drawings, and pick waves.
Report the status of project documents to the Supervisor
Accurately and promptly manage the movement of documentation to and from suppliers.
Assist Engineering with BOM’s through to Purchasing and liaise with suppliers as needed.
Participate in Project Kick-Off Meetings and Progress Meetings.
Take minutes at Departmental Meetings.
Provide support to all departments throughout the project lifecycle.
Understand, set up, and operate the Company's ERP System.
Archive Project and Engineering files (both electronic and paper) in accordance with established practices and processes.
Contribute to the development of systems and the improvement of working practices and processes.
Be thoroughly familiar with and conversant in systems and the enhancement of working practices and processes. Skills and experience
Previous experience of working in Document Control
Previous working experience of MS Project
The ability to contribute towards a team driven environment and have the drive to work well as an individual. Full-Time
Monday – Thursday 07:30 – 16:30, Friday 07:30 – 13:30
