Yolk recruitment are looking for an experience Project Planner to join a leading Technology company who's services and technology help increase protection and sustainability across the world.

You would be the first project planner int he company joining a newly created PMO, With a lot more growth planned int he PMO function this role offers great progression opportunities as the PMO office grows and an opportunity to be part of the senior project leadership team. you would be building detailed project plans from scratch, presenting to key stakeholders and external stakeholders across the world.

Responsibilities

Build project schedules from scratch encompassing full project scope, milestones, timelines and resource allocation, using critical path methodology
Ensure clear responsibility and ownership for all project outcomes is defined via Work Breakdown Structure (WBS)
Ensure there is a clear method in place for developing, managing and baselining project schedules and manage periodic updates
Identify and emphasise critical milestones to key stakeholders to maintain project timelines
Manage the fully integrated project schedule and structure it to allow review at a range of levels and details
Negotiate and mediate timelines and project inter-dependencies between key partners
Produce consolidated, high quality view of planning horizon
Prepare high quality status reports and dashboards for project stakeholders, which include resource allocation and KPIs
Review external customer / in-country partner schedules to ensure that they are compiled using scheduling best practices
Support PMO in facilitating risk and opportunity activities, governance documentation, project procurement activities and general project administration when needed

Requirements

Demonstrable experience in a similar role, environment and / or industry of at least 3 years
In depth knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Project.
Ability to understand the status of a project and link the schedule to the reality of the execution.
Quickly understand the risks and opportunities in the schedule, identify and drive appropriate actions
Ability to challenge at a senior level
Ability to build and maintain productive relationships with key stakeholdersBenefits
