The Opportunity

Belcan Workforce Solutions are working with a pioneering national facility in Coventry dedicated to battery manufacturing to find a Project Officer to join their team. Our client serves as a critical link between battery technology development and successful mass production.

Working in their impressive 18,500 square meters facility, you will be aiding the delivery of a substantial element of project planning and administrative support for our client's multi-million-pound project.

The Role

As the Project Officer you will provide support to the Project Manager by supporting project meetings, the management of project budgets, and the development of new technical partner relationships. You will also be ensuring that documented evidence is collected, filed, and readily available to meet funding and audit requirements.

You will also be supporting the management of project processes such as procurement for equipment and services, recruitment of project staff, and planning, monitoring, and controlling project activity in conjunction with the Project Manager.

About You

You should be educated to degree level (or equivalent) and have previous experience as a Project Officer or similar, supporting project management activities within a Heavy Engineering environment. You should have an understanding of research funding regulations and a general awareness of research funded project delivery. Additionally, you should be self-motivated with an emphasis on task management and adaptability.
