We are currently seeking an experienced Project Manager / Site Agent to join the team for a major highways project based in Birmingham.

Position Overview: The Project Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of a significant highways project. The successful candidate will possess extensive experience in civil engineering, with a strong focus on earthworks and highways. They will also have a proven track record in managing sub-contractors and ensuring project milestones are met within budget and on schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the project team in the planning, execution, and delivery of a major highways project.
Manage all aspects of civil engineering works, with a particular focus on earthworks and highways construction.
Oversee sub-contractor management, ensuring all parties adhere to project specifications and timelines.
Coordinate with stakeholders, including clients, government agencies, and internal teams, to ensure seamless project delivery.
Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Prepare and present regular project reports to senior management and stakeholders.
Manage project budget, ensuring cost control and financial accountability.Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
Extensive experience in project management within the civil engineering and highways sector.
Proven experience in earthworks and highways construction.
Strong knowledge of sub-contractor management and contract administration.
Excellent leadership and team management skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work independently and make informed decisions under pressure.
Familiarity with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification is a plus.
Based in or willing to relocate to Birmingham, UK.Contract Details:
