The Project: A critical project to upgrade their systems and streamline them by transitioning from a Sage 200 system to SAP. SAP Business ByDesign (ByD). This systems transformation is pivotal for enhancing their operational efficiency and effectiveness.

A highly skilled Project Manager with expertise in SAP implementation with a deep understanding of manufacturing processes. This role is crucial in ensuring the success of their systems transformation project, and they need a professional who can start immediately, take charge of the project, and drive it to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead SAP Implementation: Oversee the entire SAP implementation project, ensuring it aligns with business objectives and timelines.
Hands-On Tasks: Engage in hands-on activities such as data cleansing and imports to ensure accurate and efficient data migration. Develop ad execute test scripts to validate system functionality, and perform thorough process analysis to identify and document AS-IS and TO-BE processes.
Stakeholder Orchestration: Collaborate with department heads to gather input, provide feedback, and secure sign-offs on project milestones.
Project Planning: Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and implement strategies to mitigate them, ensuring the project remains on schedule and within budget.
Progress Reporting: Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project progress and any challenges encountered.
System Transition: Ensure a seamless transition and integration from Sage 200 to SAP.
Issue Resolution: Troubleshoot any issues that arise and provide effective solutions to maintain project momentum. You will have:
SAP Implementation Experience: Proven experience in managing SAP implementation projects, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
Manufacturing Knowledge: Strong understanding of manufacturing needs, including accounting, BOM, units of measure, and other critical processes.
Project Management Skills: Exceptional project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Data Cleansing and Import Skills: Experience in data cleansing and data import processes to ensure the accuracy and integrity of data migration.
Test Script Development and Execution: Ability to develop, manage, and execute test scripts to validate system functionality and ensure alignment with business requirements.
Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
