Gleesons has partnered with a Rail Operations Business looking for a Project Manager. This Opportunity is working for an organically growing rail business that is looking for a PM looking to further their Career.
Job Title: Project Manager
Locations: Derby / London
Salary: £60,000+
Duties:
Ensure safe operation of rolling stock on the railway system, adhering to lease obligations.
Review National Incident Reports (NIRs) and manage remedial actions.
Support supplier accreditation and audit processes.
Manage projects to meet time, cost, and quality objectives.
Provide regular reporting on project progress, issues, costs, and risks.
Conduct project reviews and update Project Execution Plans (PEPs).
Chair contract review meetings and manage supplier invoices and payments.
Handle contract variations and compile Engineering Change requests.
Support maintenance specification development and audit suppliers for compliance.
Manage warranty systems to minimise risk.
Develop a clear transition plan from projects to business as usual.
Collaborate with the PMO for standardisation of project delivery.
Provide direct technical support to customers on leased vehicles.
Address asset deterioration in maintenance/overhaul programs to protect residual value.
Share learning's on asset protection across the business.
Support the development of graduate trainees/engineering apprentices.
Assist suppliers in improving working practices.
Provide engineering services across the business as required.Key Skills:

Contracts work with Rail, Heavy Maintenance and Rolling stock.
