Are you an experienced Project Manager looking for an exciting new challenge? Our client is seeking a dedicated professional to join their team in the UK South.

The Role:

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of your team while efficiently planning, coordinating, and implementing resources. You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of electrical projects and oversee multiple engineering teams and subcontractors. Reporting to the senior manager, you will be accountable for delivering projects on time and within budget, with opportunities to advance your professional career.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage multiple projects and team resources safely and effectively to meet time and budget targets.

- Ensure all work complies with company policies, procedures, and client-specific instructions.

- Issue clear Task Instructions to teams/individuals before work begins and confirm understanding.

- Liaise with clients’ Project Managers and other designated staff.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and third parties.

- Communicate with local authorities and third parties on project-related issues.

- Collaborate professionally with project facilitators such as SAP.

- Capture and report project variations to the client's designated person in line with the contract.

- Conduct proactive site inspections to ensure compliance with procedures.

- Deliver Toolbox Talks and critical safety information to your team.

- Monitor daily project delivery, staff productivity, and financial performance.

- Inform line management promptly of any project-related concerns.

Ideal Candidate:

-At least 3 years of experience as a Project Manager in the overhead line electricity industry.

- Holds an IOSH Managing Safely qualification or equivalent.

- Experienced in managing CDM sites.

- Proven ability to achieve targets and objectives.

- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Project.

- Demonstrates strong leadership skills and is a team player.

Desirable Qualifications:

- Current DNO Authorisation

- Prince 2 qualification

- SMSTS qualification

- NEBOSH General Certificate

- City & Guilds 2339 or equivalent
