What you’ll be doing:

We’ve got an ambitious and bold strategy for the future of our business, which has Engineering at its heart. Your role is crucial to the execution of this strategy.

Working closely with our Head of Engineering, you will be bringing your knowledge and experience to bear as we update and improve our current approach to delivering New Product Introduction (NPI) Projects.

Putting the theory into practice, you will also manage our engineering projects from inception through to delivery. You will closely track and report on scope, schedule, and cost, managing risks along the way.

How you’ll do it:

* You’ll work with the Engineering team to turn new product proposals into comprehensive project plans, plotting out the stages, timelines, budgets, and milestones required by a multi-disciplined engineering team.

* You’ll work with the project team to track progress on a day-to-day basis, continually optimising for the desired quality, scope, schedule, and budget.

* You’ll use appropriate project management tools to assist with planning and reporting

* You’ll help identify any roadblocks or risks to the project delivery or budget, finding ways to remove the blocks and/or escalating when required.

* You’ll build relationships; with the Engineering Team, across Kinesys, and throughout the TAIT Group to help ensure broad visibility of, and engagement with, team progress.

Who you are:

* You’re incredibly well organised. You have systems and processes that work for you. You enjoy bringing structure and clarity to busy teams.

* You have very strong communication skills; you’re great at negotiating, gaining commitment and buy-in from others, and expectation management.

* You’re very comfortable making decisions and judgement calls based on your experience.

* You’ve got an excellence mindset. You understand that our customers expect the very best from Kinesys and you expect the highest quality work from your team.

* You’re interested in the entertainment/live events industry

Your experience and knowledge:

* You’ve got proven experience working in an engineering environment and successfully delivering New Product Introduction (NPI) projects

* You’ve developed your own ideas of what it takes to deliver products well, and you’re looking for an opportunity to put them into practice

What you’ll get here:

* You’ll get to be part of a company with technology at its core, working with brilliant people. You’ll be inspired by them, and you’ll learn fast

* You’ll work on interesting projects and see your work in action everywhere from the gigs you go to, to the TV you watch

* You’ll get 23 days holiday, increasing by one day per year of service to 25 days (+ Bank Holidays).

* You’ll also get Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve off every year, without fail

* You’ll get an annual £200 Entertainment Fund to spend on concerts, theatre, or cinema, as well as the usual Childcare Vouchers, Cycle to Work scheme and contributory pension

* You’ll get access to our onsite gym and free parking.
