Project Manager – Commercial Groundworks
Location: Watford
Rate: Negotiable DOE
Start: ASAP
Duration: Ongoing / Long-Term
IR35: Outside IR35
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Project Manager to join a large and well-established groundworks subcontractor on a commercial groundworks package in the Watford area.
The client is confidential until interview stage but has a very strong and secure pipeline of further work, making this a long-term opportunity for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
*
Take overall responsibility for the delivery of the groundworks package.
*
Manage Site Managers, Foremen, Engineers and subcontractors.
*
Plan and monitor programme, progress and resources.
*
Ensure works are delivered safely, on programme and to the required quality standards.
*
Liaise with the client, engineers, consultants and wider project team.
*
Monitor project documentation, quality and Health & Safety.
*
Identify and resolve issues to keep the project moving.
Requirements
*
Previous Project Manager experience within groundworks.
*
Strong commercial groundworks background.
*
Previous experience working for a groundworks subcontractor.
*
SMSTS – Essential.
*
Black CSCS – Essential.
*
Additional relevant tickets and qualifications are desirable.
*
Strong communication and leadership skills.
