Description:

A leading international construction consultancy is looking for a Project Manager to join their London team, supporting projects across London and occasionally Europe. This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager to work across public sector, hotel, healthcare, and residential schemes.

The Project Manager will be joining a highly regarded consultancy with clear progression routes, APC support, and a flexible hybrid working approach. This Project Manager role would suit a capable Project Manager who does not need hand-holding and is confident managing responsibilities independently. The successful Project Manager will be proactive, professional, and comfortable travelling when required, including occasional European travel for work. This Project Manager position is ideal for someone looking to progress quickly within a busy and well-structured consultancy environment.

You must have prior construction consultancy experience to be considered for this role.

The Project Manager's role

The Project Manager will support the successful delivery of a varied portfolio of projects across London, Oxford, and wider locations when required. Projects will include public sector developments, hotels, healthcare schemes, and selected residential projects.

The Project Manager will be responsible for managing project programmes, coordinating consultants, supporting procurement, tracking risks, preparing reports, attending client meetings, and overseeing project delivery from early stages through to completion.

The Project Manager will also work closely with contractors, design teams, cost consultants, and senior stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered to a high standard. The role will require confidence, independence, and the ability to take ownership without constant supervision.

The Project Manager

The successful Project Manager will have:

Prior experience working within a construction consultancy environment
Experience as a Project Manager or a strong Assistant Project Manager ready to step up
Project experience across public sector, hotels, healthcare, residential, or similar built environment schemes
A degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying, or a similar construction-related subject
MRICS, MAPM, MCIOB, or working towards a relevant professional qualification
Strong knowledge of JCT contracts and project delivery processes
A full UK driving licence
Willingness to travel occasionally to Europe for work
Strong communication, organisation, and client-facing skills
A capable, committed, and independent approach to project management

In Return?

£50,000 - £62,000
Car allowance
Hybrid working
Flexible working approach
Fast progression routes
APC support
Pension contribution
