Description:
A well-established multidisciplinary construction consultancy based in Sevenoaks is seeking a Project Manager to join their growing team. The successful Project Manager will work across a varied portfolio of residential, mixed-use and regeneration projects, supporting clients from the early stages of development through to practical completion.
This is a strong opportunity for a Project Manager with at least three years' construction experience who wants to develop their technical knowledge, take greater responsibility for project delivery and progress their career. The Project Manager will also gain exposure to Employer's Agent duties as part of a varied and interesting workload.
You must have prior construction consultancy experience to be considered for this role.
The Project Manager's role
The Project Manager will support and manage projects throughout the full development lifecycle, coordinating consultant teams, contractors, clients and other key stakeholders.
Day-to-day responsibilities will include managing programmes, monitoring project progress, preparing reports, leading meetings and helping to ensure projects are delivered to the required time, cost and quality standards.
The Project Manager will also undertake Employer's Agent responsibilities, including administering JCT building contracts, managing instructions, monitoring contractual obligations and supporting projects through practical completion and defects.
The role will provide exposure to a range of residential-led developments, including new-build housing, mixed-use schemes and regeneration projects.
The Project Manager
The successful Project Manager will ideally have:
3+ years' construction industry experience
Prior experience within a construction consultancy
Experience across residential, mixed-use or regeneration projects
Good working knowledge of JCT contracts and Employer's Agent duties
Strong project delivery and stakeholder management skills
Experience coordinating consultants and contractors
A degree in Project Management, Building Surveying, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or a related discipline
Ideally working towards or holding MRICS, MAPM, MCIOB or another relevant professional qualification
Strong communication and organisational skills
