Description:
An established construction consultancy in Winchester is looking for a driven Project Manager to join its growing team. The successful Project Manager will work mainly across education projects, supporting the delivery of schools, colleges and other learning environments from early planning through to completion. This is an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager with at least two years' consultancy experience who wants to build strong education-sector expertise while still gaining exposure to other project types.
The Project Manager will work closely with clients, consultants and contractors throughout the project lifecycle. The consultancy is looking for a confident Project Manager who is comfortable in a client-facing environment and can manage multiple stakeholders effectively. While education will form the core of the workload, the incoming Project Manager will also have the opportunity to work across other sectors, giving them a broader and more varied consultancy experience.
You must have prior construction consultancy experience to be considered for this role.
The Project Manager's role
The Project Manager will support and manage projects across the full development lifecycle, including planning, design coordination, procurement, construction and handover.
Day-to-day responsibilities will include managing project programmes, coordinating consultant teams, attending and leading meetings, monitoring progress, identifying risks and maintaining regular communication with clients.
The Project Manager will play an important part in ensuring education and wider property projects are delivered in line with programme, budget and quality expectations.
