A leading multidisciplinary construction consultancy in London is looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join its established team. The successful Senior Project Manager will work across a strong pipeline of complex projects, with a particular focus on healthcare schemes. This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Project Manager who enjoys client-facing delivery and technically challenging projects.
The Senior Project Manager will take responsibility for projects from feasibility through design, procurement, construction and handover. The consultancy is particularly interested in a Senior Project Manager with previous healthcare experience. The incoming Senior Project Manager will work closely with clients, consultants and contractors while supporting junior team members, giving the Senior Project Manager a broad senior-level remit.
You must have prior construction consultancy experience to be considered for this role.
The Senior Project Manager's role
The Senior Project Manager will lead projects throughout the full development lifecycle, acting as a key client contact and ensuring projects achieve programme, cost and quality objectives.
Responsibilities will include leading meetings, managing consultant teams, overseeing procurement, monitoring programmes and managing project risks.
The Senior Project Manager
The successful Senior Project Manager will ideally have:
Strong Project Management experience within a UK construction consultancy
Previous healthcare project experience
Experience managing projects independently
Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills
A relevant construction degree
MRICS, MAPM, MCIOB or progress towards professional qualification
Strong procurement and programme management knowledge
