Project Manager / Construction Project Manager - Preston
We’re recruiting for an established construction and development business looking to appoint an experienced Project Manager to deliver projects valued between £8m and £12m.
The company delivers a range of quality developments, including care homes, commercial and industrial buildings, with a strong focus on quality, programme and budget.
The Role
* Take responsibility for the successful delivery of projects from start through to handover.
* Manage site teams, subcontractors and the wider project team.
* Keep projects on programme and within budget.
* Ensure high standards of health and safety, quality and workmanship.
* Coordinate trades, materials, plant and site activities.
* Monitor progress, identify potential issues and keep works moving.
* Work closely with clients, consultants and subcontractors.
* Maintain site records, report progress and manage project deadlines.
About You
* Previous experience as a Project Manager within construction - Essential.
* A track record of delivering projects of a similar value and scale.
* Experience across new-build construction, ideally care homes, commercial or industrial projects.
* Strong knowledge of construction programmes, subcontractor management and site operations.
* Good leadership and communication skills, with the ability to drive projects forward.
* Relevant construction qualifications and a strong understanding of health and safety
