Project Manager - Construction
Projects up to £12M New Build
Wiltshire Area

£75-80K + car allowance + contributory pension + life cover + 25 days holiday plus bank holiday

As Project Manager you will be running a new build commercial £12M project in the Wiltshire area.

You will be running a direct employed team as well as subcontractors.

Your duties will include:

Planning and Coordination:

Develop and oversee project plans, schedules, and budgets.
Coordinate activities with various stakeholders, including architects, contractors, and subcontractors.
Team Leadership:

Lead and motivate project teams to achieve project goals.
Delegate tasks and responsibilities to team members.
Risk Management:

Identify and assess project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
Budget Management:

Monitor project costs and expenses to stay within budget.
Track and report financial performance against project goals.
Communication:

Maintain regular communication with clients, team members, and other stakeholders.
Provide regular project updates and address any issues or concerns.
Contract Administration:

Review and negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers.
Ensure adherence to contractual agreements and specifications.
Quality Control:

Implement and enforce quality control measures.
Conduct inspections to ensure work meets quality standards.
Problem Solving:

Address and resolve project issues in a timely manner.
Implement solutions to keep the project on track.
Documentation:

Maintain accurate project documentation, including change orders and progress reports.
Keep records of all project-related communications and decisions.
Client Relations:

Foster positive relationships with clients and address their concerns.
Ensure client satisfaction by delivering projects on time and within scope.
Regulatory Compliance:

Stay informed about and ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations.
Obtain necessary permits and approvals for construction activities.
Schedule Management:

Monitor and adjust project schedules as needed.
