Manchester City Centre - hybrid - 1 day per week required in the office

9 Month FTC

£39,000 - £46,000 pro-rata + excellent benefits

This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented Project Manager with experience working within communications to join a prestigious organisation based in the City Centre of Manchester. Our client is looking for a skilled professional who can lead a vital project, in collaboration with colleagues across the organisation, to support them in creating and updating their communication assets. This is an exciting role and high-profile project within the organisation and you will play a key role in ensuring that communication assets are future-proofed and aligned with their brand guidelines.

As the Project Manager you will be responsible for:

Leading and managing a project to create and update communication assets, ensuring they align with our client's future-proof descriptors, tone of voice guide, terminology guide, branded templates, and house style.
Developing and maintaining project documentation, including a RAID log, implementation tracker, stakeholder engagement and communication plans, and benefit assessment.
Delivering the project on time and within the defined brief.
Organising and facilitating meetings, workshops, and other activities in support of the project, documenting and sharing minutes, actions, and decisions.
Aligning project objectives with our client's wider goals and ensuring stakeholders understand their responsibilities.
Collaborating with stakeholders to address issues and dependencies that impact project planning and implementation.
Promoting project aims, messages, and guidance tools through internal communication channels.
Conducting quality assurance checks to ensure external communication assets accurately reflect our clients aims
Creating an inclusive working environment that encourages collaboration and embeds equality and diversity considerations.
Planning and delivering learning sessions to stakeholders and project colleagues.
Defining, measuring, and recording necessary closure activities for a smooth transition to business as usual.
Adhering to safeguarding policies and processes for protecting children and adults at risk of harm.
Undertaking any other duties as assigned from time to time.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Project Manager, ideally in the field of communications and/or marketing.
Strong project management skills, including ability to develop project plans, manage stakeholders, and deliver results within set timelines.
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues across different levels of the organisation.
Experience in developing and implementing communication strategies and aligning them with organisational objectives.
Knowledge of branding and brand guidelines.
Familiarity with various communication channels and tools
Knowledge of Agile would be advantageous.Please note the closing date for applications will be 31st May and interviews will take place via MS Teams on Monday 10th June.
