Job Title: Project Manager - District Heating (Civil Engineering)

Location: South West London / Gatwick Airport (London-based preferred) or Sheffield (2 days in the Sheffield office, 3 days on site in London)

Salary: Competitive - DOE (Permanent or Freelance considered - No Ltd Company contractors)

Role Overview:
Due to continued growth and the award of several high-profile district heating projects, we are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of civil engineering infrastructure works. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing projects from inception through to completion, ensuring they are delivered safely, on programme, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Requirements:

Proven experience as a Project Manager within the civil engineering sector.

Experience delivering district heating, utilities, pipeline, energy, or infrastructure projects.

Strong understanding of programme management, budgets, commercial awareness, and NEC contracts.

Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills.

SMSTS, CSCS and a full UK driving licence are advantageous.

Must be willing to work from the office and project sites; home-based working is not available.

Responsibilities:

Manage the delivery of district heating projects from start to finish.

Oversee site teams, subcontractors and project resources.

Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.

Manage client relationships and attend progress meetings.

Monitor programme, cost, quality and project performance.

Ensure compliance with all health, safety and environmental standards.

Coordinate with commercial and engineering teams to achieve successful project outcomes.
