Project Manager – Civil Engineering & Groundworks
Location: Essex
Salary: Up to £60,000 + Car Allowance + Benefits
A well-established civil engineering and groundworks contractor is looking to recruit an experienced Project Manager to oversee projects across Essex and the surrounding areas.
This is an excellent opportunity for a driven Project Manager with a strong background in civil engineering and groundworks, capable of delivering projects safely, on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage multiple civil engineering and groundworks projects from inception to completion.
* Lead site teams and subcontractors to ensure successful project delivery.
* Oversee project programmes, budgets and resources.
* Maintain high standards of health & safety, quality and environmental compliance.
* Build and maintain strong client relationships.
* Monitor commercial performance alongside the Quantity Surveying team.
* Attend progress meetings and provide regular project updates.
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Project Manager within civil engineering and groundworks.
* Strong knowledge of drainage, roads, foundations, utilities and infrastructure works.
* Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.
* Commercially aware with experience managing project budgets and programmes.
* SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid certifications preferred.
* Full UK driving licence.
