Job Title: Project Manager - Cables Package

About Our Client: A rapidly expanding player in the global renewable energy sector, boasting a remarkable growth trajectory from €100 million to €2 billion in turnover within just five years within the European markets. Globally they have a turnover of $5 billion USD, our client is at the forefront of the renewable energy revolution. As part of their expansion, they have recently established their European headquarters and Project Management Office (PMO) to oversee their ambitious projects in the region.
Role Overview: Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the cables package for two of thier offshore wind projects. This role will involve managing both export and array cables, including 400kV packages, ensuring the successful delivery of projects within time, budget, and quality parameters. The Project Manager will report directly to the European Project Director, a calm and measured leader, who will provide guidance and support in navigating the challenges of offshore wind projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of cable packages for offshore wind projects.
Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery.
Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources effectively to meet project objectives.
Implement risk management strategies and mitigation plans to address potential project risks.
Oversee compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project efficiency and performance.Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related field.
Proven experience in project management, particularly within the offshore wind sector.
Strong understanding of cable systems, including export and array cables, preferably in a 400kV environment.
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to thrive in a busy growing environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
