The Company

Our client is a proudly UK-based bespoke joinery manufacturer, known for their unwavering commitment to British craftsmanship, innovative design, and precision manufacturing. Operating from their state-of-the-art workshop in North Surrey, they produce high-end cabinetry, architectural joinery, and fully bespoke interiors for both residential and commercial projects.

Their clientele includes discerning homeowners, architects, and interior designers who demand the highest standards of quality, creativity, and service. With a growing project portfolio, they are now seeking an experienced and hands-on Project Manager to help deliver excellence from concept to completion.

The Role

As Project Manager, you will oversee the successful delivery of bespoke joinery projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality expectations are met or exceeded. You will act as the key liaison between clients, workshop, installation teams, and designers—taking projects from initial enquiry through to final installation and sign-off.

This is a client-facing role that requires strong communication, planning, and joinery knowledge, ideally gained from hands-on experience in the trade.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage multiple bespoke joinery projects across residential and commercial sectors

Work closely with clients, architects, and designers to interpret briefs and ensure design intent is maintained

Provide quotes and follow-up on client enquiries

Welcome walk-in clients and assist with their requirements

Coordinate production schedules with the workshop and CNC teams

Oversee installation logistics, including arranging deliveries and fitters

Monitor project progress, budgets, and quality standards

Handle snagging, aftercare, and client handover

Ensure health & safety and compliance standards are upheld on all sites

Requirements:

Proven experience in project management within bespoke joinery or high-end interiors

In-depth knowledge of the joinery manufacturing and installation process

Strong organisational and communication skills, with client-facing experience

Ability to read technical drawings and manage detailed specifications

Competency in producing and following up on quotes and estimates

Experience dealing with suppliers, deliveries, and installation scheduling

Background as a joiner or CNC operator would be highly advantageous

Full UK driving licence preferred

Benefits:

Competitive basic salary: £42,000 – £45,000

Opportunity to work with a respected and growing bespoke manufacturer

Engaging and varied projects across high-end residential and commercial sectors

Supportive, skilled team and a collaborative workshop environment

Career development opportunities for the right candidate
