Job Summary
As the Architectural and Structural Metalwork Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of metalwork projects from conception to completion.
Responsibilities
* Responsible for managing project timelines, budgets, resources, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety are maintained throughout the project.
* Lead the planning and execution of architectural and structural metalwork projects, including but not limited to facades, staircases, balustrades, canopies, and bespoke metalwork installations.
* Collaborate with architects, engineers, designers, and subcontractors to develop project plans, specifications, and schedules.
* Manage project budgets, resources, and timelines to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
* Conduct regular site visits to oversee construction progress, resolve any issues or challenges, and ensure compliance with project specifications and safety regulations.
* Communicate effectively with clients, and project teams to provide updates, address concerns, and maintain strong relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
* Implement quality control measures to ensure the highest standards of craftsmanship and compliance with industry regulations and standards.
* Proactively identify and mitigate risks, conflicts, and obstacles that may impact project delivery.
* Foster a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and accountability among project teams to drive success and achieve project objectives.
Skills, Education and Experience required
* Proven experience in project management within the architectural and structural metalwork industry, with a track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
* Strong technical knowledge of architectural and structural metalwork processes, materials, and fabrication techniques.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
* Solid understanding of construction management principles, and industry standards and regulations.
* Commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
* Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
